in which i display today's thrift store wares....

Sadly our time here is coming to a close. We head back South in only 2 weeks and there are lots of "last" things we want to do. Today I crossed off thrifting. I HAD to make one more trip to our favorite Salvation Army store. I never leave disappointed. It is one of those thrift stores with junk piled wall to wall and rack and racks stuffed super tightly.

I hit the floral dress jackpot today.
Found a brand new Laura Ashley floral mini for $1.50 & daisy navy romper.

Another mini & lace blouse

I realized I'm in serious need of "work" stuff... some appropriate lovelies.

And some casual pieces to get me through our soon to be 90 degree existence.
A floral silk tank & mix & match shorts. Oh, and a pair of shoes for good measure.

  1. What great finds! The florals are all lovely, but I really like that sailorish dress. Fantastic!

  2. Love the sailor dress and red one the mostest! You have marvellous taste. Well done! I so wish we had decent thrifting our way over here....but sadly, it isn't the case. The lace top and purply floral strappy dress - i pretty much had in my wardrobe back in 95! Fond memories. How could that be 15 years ago? Happy travelling friend.

  8. Oh, what fantastic finds!! I've put myself on a strict no thrift regimen because of the move. It's been much (much, much) harder than anticipated!
